The Cameron Family YMCA is excited to announce that Opening Ceremonies will be held at Sea World Amusement Park with our special guest speaker – Lindy Fordem-Donahue, trainer to Shamu, Killer Whale.
Lindy competed as a YMCA gymnast and attended YMCA Nationals opening ceremonies at Sea World in the mid 90’s! You don’t want to miss this very special and truly unique ceremony. Every entry includes TWO all day visits to Sea World as well as a meal voucher! *Please be aware the 2nd all day pass must be used within 7 days of the other*
During the show, gymnasts and spectators will have the chance to be displayed and featured on Shamu's Jumbo Screen! It could be you!
We will also be recognizing our graduating seniors at the Opening Ceremonies. They will be recognized as a group on Shamu's Jumbo Screen! At this time, the scholarship award winners will be announced and recognized.
For transportation to and from Sea World for our Opening Ceremonies, we will be offering an ongoing shuttle for a nominal fee (TBD). This is available to gymnasts, coaches, and spectators alike. If you chose not to use the shuttle, parking at Sea World costs $12 per car per day.
